Irlene Mandrell was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, and is the youngest sister of the world famous country trio, The Mandrell Sisters. Irlene and her sisters come from a musical family. And began playing the drums professionally when she was eleven . Irlene is a Country Music Hall of Fame Walkway of Stars inductee. She has received many awards including two comedy act of the year awards from Music City News.
Though music has always been the Mandrell Sister’s mainstay, other entertainment forums appealed to Irlene. Irlene has enjoyed an extraordinarily varied career as an actress, model and performer. Her first television series, Barbara Mandrell and The Mandrell Sisters aired on NBC and also in the UK . The show featured good-humored interplay between Irlene and her sisters. After the series ended, Irlene sought opportunities in film, television and video. Irlene’s television credits include a guest appearance on The Love Boat and appearances on a variety of game shows and talk shows including Hollywood Squares, The Match Game, Tattletales, Password Plus, The Mike Douglas Show, The Tonight Show,. Bright Lights & Country Nights, This Week In Country Music, Oprah and many others. Irlene starred in the country variety series Hee Haw for its last eight seasons.
In addition to her many stage and television appearances, Irlene has enjoyed great success as a spokesperson. She has pitched products to millions of American homes; these products include Swift Premium Brown & Serve, Lanne Skin Care products, Glock firearms, Lea Furniture, Realtree Accents, Shedd Spread Country Crock Margarine, ChoiceDek, Cover Girl shoes & 9West shoes, and a spokes person along with G Gordon Liddy for Natures youth.
Irlene has an annual Celebrity Shoot, The Irlene Mandrell Celebrity Shoot, that benefits Wish Upon A Star which is going into its ninth year. She also supports Easter Seals, Special Olympics, American Heart Association and many other charities.
She has done several TV segments for Tennessee ’s Wildside which was titled "Irlene Mandrell Straight Shooter" for the Outdoor Channel and Public Television. She is a regular participant in all the activities with BuckMasters, Quail Unlimited, NRA, The National Wild Turkey Federation, etc. Irlene has been on the covers of different magazines including well know gun magazines. Irlene won All Around Shooter at one of the Louise Mandrell Celebrity Shoots, just finished her Grand Slam in turkey hunting, came in second on rifle for shoot off and tied for first place on hand guns for Smith & Wesson for women in Branson. She is presently the spokesperson for CZ-USA.

Irlene Mandrell is many things including country woman and glamorous star, a working mother, and someone you could feel comfortable with around your own kitchen table.
