WBIR-TV - Knoxville,TN- A Sevier County couple is using the Internet to get the word out to the masses about their missing dog. The Kings are taking the lost dog poster to an entirely different level.
Country music Singer
Louise Mandrell gave Snoop to the Kings as a gift. The star also threw a puppy shower for the new owner.
"They are your kids. You love them like your kids," Rick King said.
Mandrell helped with the search for the female Jack Russell Terrier when she disappeared two weeks ago. On July 22, Snoop chased after a critter in the Bluff Mountain Road area of Sevier County and never came back. "We knocked on doors that night, of the cabins around here. There was a huge storm that came through that night, and we kept on looking. We haven't seen her since. We are heartbroken," Rick King said.
You''ll now see pictures of the pup plastered along the roads leading up to the Kings' property, on the front of area stores, and perhaps throughout the world.
Along with the traditional posters, the Kings came up with something unique. They created a website at
www.FindSnoop.com. On it, you can read Snoop's story and even download a flyer that you can print and distribute yourself.
There is a reward for the return of Snoop. She is described as white with a brown face and has a black spot on her neck. She also has a shaved patch on her back from a recent trip to the veterinarian. Snoop has an ID tattoo on her inner thigh. If you know where Snoop is, the Kings ask that you call them at (865) 908-0321.
